I recently attended some of Freedom2Connect, a 2 day conference put on by David Isen. It was up in Silver Spring, Maryland at the AFI Theater - actually a nice place to hold a conference. The speakers included two former FCC chairmen: Michael Powell and Reed Hundt, a spirited debate between Ray Gifford and Gigi Sohn, and a brief talk by someone with one of the more interesting jobs around: Chris Sacca who heads up Business Development at Google. There were a scattering of FCC folks there and some Washington DC-based lawyers but it seemed like most of the attendees were from out of town. Which of course made it a much more interesting discussion to listen in on.
